A college football pick’em where every pick is against the spread — but the spread is not always the book’s. A game on your slate can be priced by somebody sitting in the league, and their number replaces the market’s for everyone, the person who set it included. No other pick’em does this.
Everything else is yours too: the stakes, the multipliers, even your local nicknames for beloved (or hated) schools.

Step one
Ohio State −6.5. On an ordinary pick’em that is the end of it, and every league in the country plays the same game at the same price.
Step two
Chuck holds Ohio State for the season, so this game is his to price. He can move the line as far as he likes — there is no ceiling — but there is a floor: at least 3 points off the market in this league. Leaving it alone just means the market number is used.
Step three
The whole league now picks Ohio State −10.5, and the card says whose number it is. Chuck has to live on it too, which is the only thing keeping him honest.
Three ways a line becomes somebody’s
Standing owner
A team is drafted to a player for the whole season. Every game that team plays is theirs to price.
Weekly claim
Any unowned game on the slate can be claimed, first come first served, up to three a week per player.
Group vote
The commissioner can open a game to the floor. Anyone proposes a number; a majority adopts it.
Whatever exists when lines freeze is final — a house line if one was set, the market number otherwise. If neither ever turned up, the game stays on the board grayed out and unpickable, with a note saying why.
